Erasmus Days 2021

The Erasmus Days, first launched in 2017 to mark the 30th anniversary of Erasmus, have become a tremendous celebration for citizens and stakeholders of European projects.

This year, with the continuous effects of the covid-19 pandemic changing people's everyday lives worldwide, Erasmus+ project stakeholders coped with many uncertainties and proposed challenging alternatives in order to maintain the continuation of the project. The National Society Capacity Exchange and Enhancement Platform Project (NSCEP) has components that consist of enabling the partner National Societies, the Turkish Red Crescent, the British Red Cross, the Bulgarian Red Cross, Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina of working together to improve the organisational capacity, share innovative best practices, increase the efforts of networking, and enable on-the-job training. With these various components, the Project's managerial team coordinates the project activities vigilantly and proactively while navigating these uncertain pandemic circumstances.

The NSCEP partners are keen on increasing their capacity to operate internationally by sharing ideas, studies and methods. As the Steering Committee of the project, we congratulate the Erasmus Days and look forward to disseminating the humanitarian modalities within Europe and among the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
